What is HelpTheWorld NOW?

Many people want to contribute to worthy causes, but often feel confused by the many options, aid organizations and charity projects vying for public attention. To help those interested find their way through the maze of aid, charity and corporate social responsibility initiatives, Journal International has created the charity news magazine HelpTheWorld NOW in cooperation with Europe¹s leading online donation portal HelpDirect and the DZI donation seal of approval.

Even the oil lobbyists have to admit that the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, which was caused by the explosion of a BP offshore platform in April, is one of the worst self-induced environmental disasters in human history. In reaction to this, the calls for a radical about-turn where energy is concerned are becoming increasingly forceful. US President Barack Obama sees it as a “national mission” to usher in a new era of alternative energy sources.
